I rigged up my Treadwell Topper tent on the tramp of my 21SE today and re-waterproofed the fabric. The tent is designed to fit a Hobie 16 but works on other catamarans too. The tent floor unzips and wraps around the underside of the tramp on a 16. On the 21SE it lays on top of the tramp. The boom runs through the top of the tent held up by the main halyard. The tent is sizable (8'X 7') and well vented with doors on both ends.

Has anyone else ever use one of these tents?

Or built one of their own?

Or just use a good dome style tent on your tramp?
:)

Here is my tent setup on one of my Hobie 16 tramps. This tent uses the tramp as the floor with the tent floor actually hangs below the tramp to be more bug proof. It put the tramp inside sort of an envelop. :)

Excuse my ignorance, but you're not sleeping out in the middle of a lake, are you? So why not just set up the tent on shore? (Really, I'm not a troll, I'm curious.)
And what do you do with the sail? (oh, never mind, I just looked at the first photo again. I like that. I sometimes end up motoring in with my Getaway, and the sail covers the whole tramp. I think I'll try that, especially since I have a forward tramp to walk on.)

That is pretty cool Bill. I see what you meant on the phone that it would be pretty easy to reproduce the design. With a sewing machine, some zippers, and some waterproof tent fabric.

Pretty cool! Way more sophisticated than the blue tarp over the boom we used to use when camping at Frisco Woods 20 or 25 years ago!

Bill that is very cool. Quick google didn't turn up much, is the treadwell topper a vintage item or are they available some where? I was thinking about making something like that, would love to hear more about it.

Tent on the tramp is much more comfortable than tent on the ground. No matress needed and no sand everywhere

My wife and I started out with an inexpensive Coleman 7x7 dome tent 15 years ago. It was reasonably waterproof once we seam-sealed it, had a nearly full-length rain fly, and stood up to a lot of abuse over the years, very quick to set up too.

One more thing,

And who can suggest which casino is more profitable to play? Very much want to improve my financial situation a little this way) I see that many are able to win without any problems. Recently found this website about different online casinos https://newenglandsummit.com/. What do you think about this? Can this information be trusted?
