There will be a T2 at the Miami Boat Show in a couple of weeks.

I just saw one at Tackle Shack in Pinellas Park, by St Petersburg, FL. Looks pretty cool!

Well, how does it compare to the Wave? Did you get to see the bow? It's rumored that the bows comes in separate boxes...

I didn't notice anything separate about the about the bows, just that they have the distinctive round openings (hand-holds?). It didn't have quite the same feel or "thump" of a Wave, maybe a different plastic, but it was definitely a rotomolded plastic.

The evening I saw it, they hadn't stepped the mast or installed the rudders yet, and it was pouring rain; so I didn't spend much time analyzing it. But I was impressed with what I saw!

Just joking. Earlier in the thread, when I asked why the bow was not in the pics, MBounds said:

It came in another box.

No one had shown a pic of the entire boat up to that point...

If I ever get one of these boats, I am going to post many pics of the bows. Only.

Is there any YouTube videos of the T2 in Big wind? I would love to see how it handles in 15mph to 25mph wind.

We have had to ramp up production as the boat is out selling projections already.

Fantastic to hear the T2 is outselling projections, mmiller! I really hope this boat increases Hobie Sailing's momentum and gets more people into cat sailing.

Second that motion, Creative! Would let you sail and film my T2 in big wind, if I was lucky enough to have one.

Gotta call my "local" Hobie dealer to ask if they have a T2 on show.
