High winds and big waves predicted today so I loaded my T2 on it's wheels and pulled it up the ramp so Superior doesn't eat it. The wheel cradles always seem to catch on the plastic rivets as I shove the wheels under (I think the rivets are from the old full length wear strips that we only have short ones for now). At some point in the process one of the rivet heads broke off. Is this a concern? My thought is no, but I figured it's worth a check. Any harm in getting rid of a few more rivet heads to make loading on the beach wheels easier? |

They're just decorative - panel rivets - you're probably better off without them - so now your wheels won't hang up. |

Yep, I'd asked the same question last year. I planed mine off with a razor blade as the full-length skeg strip probably won't get to the US market. I used 1 flathead SS machine screw strategically on each hull to loosely hold the boat while untying during launches. |
