My first ? is do the wings fold up for trailering or do they have to be taken off.?

The wings do fold up, but you need something to hold them in the upright position. Like many problems, this can be solved with PVC.

Here's some I made from simple hardware store parts for both SX and Magnum wings.

Also do the dagger boars slide up if you hit a shallow spot while under sail? the lake I do most sailing on has quite a few shallows....thanks ..... Jay

The daggers can sort of slide up because of the curved leading edge, but if the bottom is rough (rocks -shells) you are getting damage to the tips. I've broken the tips off H18 daggers multiple times in multiple ways.

Thanks, that looks like a nice way of holding them in place. I checked out all your pictures, I like the one where you say think the neighbors will mind, wish I was your neighbor then I could just sail one of your boats. LOL . ...Jay

LOL, yes, that's what happens when you buy a newer boat without selling the old one first. Luckily it didn't take long to sell the '81 model. I found a good catamaran classifieds site. :D
