Not sure if this will help you but I just completed making four cradles for my H18. It should work over the square stock as well.
I decided to build my own as I wanted the option to winch the boat up on the trailer with the assistance of the four trailer rollers. Once the boat is in place, I lift the hull a few inches and drop in the carpeted cradles.
The cradles fit over the top of the rollers thus keeping them from moving back and forth. The width matches the roller so it does not move left or right. The inside edge has an angled lip to keep the boat from moving off the cradle, yet the tie downs really hold the boat while in transport.
I just pulled the boat 100 miles over this last weekend. It rode fine and did not rock nearly as much as it use to while sitting on the rollers. The rear cradles are about 15" long while the fronts are about 20". The hulls contact the entire surface area which is much better than a single point of contact like the roller.
Total cost was around $5 bucks as I had the wood, carpet and screws. The only thing I purchased was the contact cement for the carpet to the wood attachment.
Hope this helps and good luck.
