I purchased a new Hobie vinyl tramp. It does not have the two holes located towards the rear of each tramp half as my original 1984 did. Are these holes for draining off the water or do they serve another purpose? Any reason the new tramp does not have these as I now have standing water on each side.

As I recall... the two small grommets were not drains, but were to route a bungee tied to each jib block. This kept the blocks from spinning.

More lace tension should cure the low spot where water gathers.
