I broke two of my old rudder casting bushings a couple of weeks ago and my boat has been "squirrely" ever since. I'm going to be fitting new ones this evening. My question is - Do you guys epoxy the bushings in place or just tap them in and call it good? Thank you.

P.S. The castings in question are the old-style H18 castings. I see "Rudder casting bushings Part#8062001 in the parts catalogue but also see NYLINER #8061011 in the assembly manual. Which of these do I need? I just want to tighten up the pin.

I used the bushings and couldn't be happier. I used a dab of silicone RTV to hold them in place.
