Were does the spin pole attach on the 18SX? I was thinking the yolk would go under the tramp slot but not sure.

The attachment is a gooseneck fitting riveted just below the mast step casting. V shape goes over the tramp slot opening between the two tramp halfs.

Can you post any pictures or diagrams please?
Or provide a link to any?
Also snuffer systems? Do we build our own, or cannibalize using a Tiger system?

thanks

Matt, Thanks. Can you provide a part number? I will be using a Tiger end pole snuffer and ordered the tiger yolk. I think I ordered the wrong part.
John, Hobie has a great spin pole system that breaks down for transport. It is a midpole system.

What I mentioned is for the Hobie USA spin system (not snuffer) but it should work on the Tiger pole attachment too. May be overkill.

The part is the Hobie 18 Gooneneck # 60710000

Matt, I think the 18 yolk is overkill also. Installed the Tiger yolk below the track with the rivets going into the crossbar. Looks great. Ran retreiver under bar and thru eyelet in tramp, works great. Thanks for your help.
