This was a great day with 8 knot winds and a nice warm sun, we were flying a hull all day

:D Have to agree, awesome .... makes me jealous sitting here make beer keg fillers. Would rather go sailing.

Nice sails, presume they are from Chip and also have to agree, great looking boat.

Chip did the jib sail, and it is a beautiful boat, I was very lucky to get this boat from a friend. As I sail it more I get more and more comfy with it. Hope to show more, I have more videos from that day, but the rest do not compare to that one

I have wings but have not bothered to fit them .... maybe too much of a puritan or pride or maybe one day I will fit them.

None the less, I sail a lot single handed and certainly once above 8 knots I have an energetic and extreme session on the trapeze doing jib, main, steer and of course going out on the trapeze.

So again having had a look at at the use of the wings, ..... hell it makes it a lot easier when the wind picks because of the extra leverage effect.

So whether to fit or not, .... not sure, but gee whiz I enjoy the action. I have only capsized twice and most certainly it is a long way down when you are almost over accompanied by plenty of swear words when you realize you are in actual fact going over. Does not take much for that to happen and it happens fast.
