You should find a fast boat in great shape with awesome crew that's cheap.

hey just stumbled across this thread. We have a pretty active hobie group. In Division 7 We have active fleets in Des Moines, Clear lake, and Storm Lake. We also have fleets in Minnesota,South Dakota and Nebraska. All are both racing and social fleets. Send me an E-mail with your address and I,ll get you a copy of our booklet.

Wessels ... Wessels ... d*mn it, were is Wessels when you need him ....

... Also ...

Track down Mr Jim Sohn ... he has a marine business, Hobie Dealer, in DesMoines Iowa .... and you could say he knows a thing or two about H18's ... since he is the current H18 North American Champion!!!!!! .... many times "Past" in fact ...

... and is a really nice gentleman to boot .....

Did you E-Mail Andy??? I'm certain he knows how to contact Mr Jim Sohn .... I've only had the pleasure of racing against Jim at one North American Championship .... and getting my butt kicked ... and having the great pleasure of Jim treating us to ICE CREAM after the Awards Banquet ...

I hope to get to compete against Jim in the future ... but I live near Philadelphia PA ... so it's most likely only going happen if I attend a North American Championship.

E-Mail Andy ... he'll get you "hooked" up .... (Chris Wessels assured me so ... another fellow Iowa-ian you'll get to know ...)
