Hi DJ, I was concerned just like you but found another posting from someone who put a Baby Bob on a H18 and said it worked great. He said there was plenty of floatation. I haven't capsized yet to give you any personal experience. Maybe I can do that this weekend to check it out. The Mama Bob setup uses a pivoting rod on the bottom of it (looks about 3/8" diameter) rather than the two flat plates. The rod gets held to the SIDE of the Comptip by riveting on two stainless steel straps. Mark |

Hi DJ, I was looking online and saw that there are two versions of the Mama Bob. There is a Universal version that uses the rod and straps, and then the Getaway version that appears to have the same mounting plates as the Baby Bob. That Getaway version should be mountable in the same way that I did the Baby Bob. Mark |
