Found 1991 Hobie 18SX last registared in 1993!!!!!!!! :(

The boat yard will not tell me who the owners are. But said they are current on the storage fees, but won't sell (The boat yard would like to get it out of their yard since it not used).

Does not look like its been out since 92 or 93.

Boat is complete with SX wings and a spin setup. It's stored mast up, with Comp tip exposed to the elements...

What kind of people own a boat like this?

Corkguy.

Brett,
I found something similar down here in SLO. It is just sitting and killing me. I asked everyone and even tried tracing the CF #s. Can't do that in CA I guess. These boats need to be in the hands of those that will use them. They just aren't growing on trees anymore.

I say we take the owner out back and have a talk. Get that boat to a foster parent!

Ask the boatyard to forward your contact information to the current boat owner. I can understand that under confidentiality rules that they cannot release that information to you.

You got a friend that's a cop? Everyone has one. Trying giving the trailer reg to your friend along with a six pack. Got to grease the skids.

Running numbers is harder in CA. It's quite frustrating.
Our DMV won't tell you if the item your trying to buy has past fees or is stolen!!!!

But this is an election year maybe I can find a politician that will trade for a vote???
