I have a good set of 18 sails. On a 1-10 scale, I would say they are 7-8. What are they worth? |

What the buyer is willing to pay. All kidding aside. I just sold a set of sails in A condition for $900. New/Barely used I have sets that are in B-C condition that would go for $300 to $600 |

They're old, they've got stains, corrosion and wear. I've seen worse, but I've also seen a lot better. You might get $200-$300 for them. |

My Hobie 18 Jib has suffered UV degradation and must be replace. I'm looking for a used Hobie 18 Jib. Please contact me if you have a jib only for sale. |

I have some used sails available... 2 mains/ 1 jib... NO BATTENS WITH THE MAIN SAILS main 12992 (pink rocker, 1987) in decent shape.. no tears, repairs. Some fading and discoloration. very usable as a play sail. White Main: 797 (Blue Streak, 1978) more worn, repairs to bolt rope and pockets... good repairs, no other tears. obvious discoloration/ fading. window has yellowed with age. Again, a good play sail. Jib, White.. well used... zipper good shape, 1 tear on leach (looks like where diamonds hit sail.) has been repaired and needs repair again. Pictures here (I hope) email me for prices or more pics... Good used sails are sure hard to come by, specially H18SX sails. |
