We just purchased a used Hobie 18 sx. We are near Marathon Key Florida. If someone is near that is available for us to hire to help us learn our Hobie please let us know.

Oh MAN!!! I just missed out. We stayed in Islamorada last week, and complaining about the boats our resort had. If you would have posted this about Tuesday of last week, I would loved to go out sailing with you! I am back up in Michigan for the rest of the winter... :cry:

Bummer!!! We are down here for a few months and thought it would be a fun thing to try out. Hope you had a great time down here, the weather is WONDERFUL!!!!

Look up Rick White and Mary Wells... (they live in the Keys and run the website catsailor.com)....

Rick made some awesome sailing training videos years ago, and much of them were filmed with the Hobie 18.

He'll get ya'll started, the cat sailing scene down that way pretty much is organized by him...
