I am rather new to hobie sailing, I purchased a hobie 18 - 1981 model and by all the documentation I've seen, it isn't clear how to connect the deadeye to the traveler and the blocks on the boom. Is there any photos or youtube video which does a better job than the manual? With Thanks; Al |

Al, The following videos by jmecky helped me with 90% of my rigging questions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl7kZOQ5WQk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QLltz31cy8 I still was a little unclear on the jib halyard and mast rotator for a little bit, but both are relatively simple once you know what to do. If you have any trouble, just ask! |
