What is the easiest way to add anchor plates to the rear crossbar of my H-18. I plan on adding a spinnaker and wings someday. |

Instructions come with the kit. I've done it before and it's pretty simple. Basically, just attach the plate under the deck lip with the crossbar bolt and then drill out the 4 holes from the plate through the hull of the boat and use lots of silicone before bolting it all together. If your boat doesn't have a port hull behind the rear crossbar I'd recommend putting one in so that you can reach to the inside of the hull to attach the nuts. Greg Thomas |

If you add the anchor plates, please take some pictures as you go along. I need to do this on my 18, and I'd like to run this upgrade as an article at TheBeachcats.com. Thanks, Damon Linkous TheBeachcats.com damon(AT)thebeachcats(DOT)com |
