I recently purchased an 82 that has the old alum cams. In the catbox are a used set of the post 87 rudder castings. Where can I find a set of instructions? I am considering a set of the one piece gudgeons. Is it worth the money? My 1st post, been reading and learning for several weeks now. Thanks, for the help!

If you will lake sail primarily you may wish to leave the old style on. If changing to the new style the one piece gudgeon is a smart purchase, spreads any impact out over the transom better. The conversion without a new gudgeon is a matter of moving the original lower gudgeon up and retapping. Or move the lower screw holes on the gudgeon to the upper holes, fill the exposed holes and tap the now upper screw holes.
