I just bought an H-18 and would love any advice and would love to know about any events in Southern California soon or this summer.

How can I find out?

Are there any websites that I should know about?

Thanks,

Mike

Go to Yahoo! Groups and search for So_CA_Beachcat_Sailors. It looks like they are mainly out of LA and Orange counties, with lots of chatter about races and sailing trips. They have scheduled a trip from Long Beach to Catalina for March 28 - 30, so you could try to get in on that action.

You should also look at the Northern California schedule - check out the Division 3 website at:

http://www.div3.hobieclass.com/

There will be a regatta at Lake Cachuma June 14 and 15 which will be really close to you. We look forward to seeing you there.

... and if you feel like a road trip this summer, join us up in Canada for the H18 North American Championships at Harrison Hot Springs in Beautiful British Columbia. Lots of information on the website.
