I have a problem with oxidation of the tramp grommets, is there any products to get rid of this, or perhaps clean the grommets from this oxidation ?

Regards
Tomas

They are brass, so a brass polish should work.

In the Navy they call cleaning brass Bright work. There have been numerious soulitions to bright work usally given as a form of punishment,
for small infrations. Koolaid or bugjuice. for very cooroded brass I've seen Tobasco sause take off a allot of the Green and finished up with brasso.

Worried about oxidation on grommets??? ( I wish this was the worst of my boat problems.)

-Well, I guess magizine models talking about shades of lipstick is important in their own world.

Boy, I’m with Jeff, I don’t think I’ve ever looked or paid attention to my grommets, the only problem I ever had with my tramp was then the whole thing separated just inboard of the line of rear grommets, I fell through the large resulting hole and watch the cat sail away from me! Good thing it has lots of weather helm and it went into irons so I could catch up to it.
