when you hook up the 6:1 blocks do you use the for or aft hanger on the boom or does it matter

Pretty sure you use the rear hanger so that the sheets are at an angle to the x-bar and not hanging straight down. By doing this, when you sheet in tight on the main it pushes the boom forward and helps to rotate the mast.
