Hey flocktothewall,
Good to see someone in my neck of the woods. I'm only about 10 min from you, I live In Yucaipa:)

Too bad it's an old junker because I am looking for a cat myself to get started out on.

To be honest with ya, its not an old junker, its old, its a 76 but its sailable, it just has alot of soft spots, I didnt feel like dealing with them so for 400 dollars I bought a better one, but I have to get rid of this one.

Heres my dilema:
My friend just shattered his knee, so he cant pick it up, I have to drop it off which I dont want to deal with.
I promised the boat to him but I dont want the hassle of delievering it to him.
He is poor as the surgury for his knee is going to take all his money because he doesnt have insurance.

But I feel obligated to keep my word to him. The boat is sailable, the jib ripped when I had a dismast problem the last time i took it out. (the ringding came undone and the clevis pin holding the shroud fell out while tacking) the boat works, and the rip on the jib is simply the thread on the seam ripping.

ARGGG the tangled webs we weave!
cklepinger if it falls through this week i will let you know!

Chris,

You've got to have an image host - either your own, like my personal storage space on Comcast.net, or grab a photo from somebody else's web site - like the 14 NA's:

Image

Look! There's Chris Wessels (on "Cinderblock") displaying the sponsor's product!

(Be careful when stealing other people's bandwidth, though - they can substitute photos that you may not want to take credit for showing.)

In the Reply to Post box, use the Img button to open a BBCode image tag, paste the URL of the image in, click on the Img button again to close the tag and you're done.

I strongly recommend previewing your post before submitting.

Ah yes, the webs we weave. I know what you mean man. I was going to sell one of my race karts but a friend of mine just had to have it. I held it for him even though I had other offers, now he doesn't want it.
That really ticked me off, oh well live and learn. Now I have to go through the hassel of relisting it.

How much do new 16's go for? Are they about 5k?
After I sell my kart I will have money for a newer cat:)

the used one i bought is more than 30 years old, but she feels new, you can get a GREAT cat for 1500 easy...
Theres one thats for sale in Santa Cruz I was in the process of buying it, '84 redline but I didnt want to drive that far and some other things... I for some reason thought Santa Cruz was above Santa Barbara, its just below Oakland, big difference.

Its posted in the for sale forum, the guy is real nice, and seems to know what he is talking about... 8)
