Hello there all, It has been a while since I last posted, and then It was also for you to look at a boat on Ebay...

I would like to ask that you do so again... this listing mentions cracks on the left hull... I posted a question to him (seen in the Q&A area)

Can any of you possibly tell what year this might be, he is unsure....

Again this would be my first sailboat, and it also happens to be in my area (Colorado)

Here is the link

I'm thinking I will probably bid on this unless I hear otherwise...

Thanks again

Junior

Looks good to me. The cracks on the hull sound like they are from some kind of impact or something. I would check to make sure it doesnt make any creaking or cracking sounds when you push on that spot.

It looks and sounds like this boat and trailer are in about the same condition as mine was. I spent $800 for it, and have since done about $200 worth of work to the hulls and $100 worth to the sails (including installing a window in the jib). Only difference is that mine came with Beach Wheels as well.

If you can get this for $800 or less I think you would be getting a good deal.

Can you look at the boat tomorow :?: before you Bid at least this way you have a idea how it was sailed is the title clear Don't know about CO is it currently registered when was the last time it was how long has he /she owned the boat? trailer lights tires Spare. Check for soft spots on both hulls and decks is it tight if it is it has probably been sailed recently is the sealant newer with in a year boats that have not been sailed a while usally won't have new sealant. Look at the bottom is the fiberglass weave showing?

Good luck and remember its not the last one you will find if you don't getr this one.

Hey guys, thanks for the input ...

I've sent the seller an e-mail asking if I could come down and view the boat prior to a final bid....

Todd, I know this won't be the last one... But I also know that Sailboats in Colorado are not that abundant either... I missed out on one last fall, and now it's going in to spring time... I figure prices are going to be going up....

If it doesn't pan out, it doesn't. I can be patient if needed. I just don't like needing to....

I'll post back here with the results, one way or the other....

Thanks again, and Good on Ya..

Junior
