When traveling to a new lake, do you launch your boat at the boat ramp from the trailer or do you take her off the trailer first and slide her down the shore?
Which do you think is better/easier?

Cheers,
Nick

It all depends on what the beach is like. If there is a grassy shore or a sandy beach I always prefer to rig my boat there. But if the shore is rocky or full of shells or other sharp objects I prefer to rig the boat on the trailer and launch at the ramp.
