...when trailering that is! :D
I was wondering if one should remove the Hobie Bob mast float or just leave it on. I was a little concerned about drag.
Also, if you do remove it for travel, do remove the Bob from its fitting or take the whole unit off?
Thanks in advance!
Nick

No need to remove your Bob for travel. Only the 21 Sport Cruiser and the 30113 style can be easily removed anyway. Be sure all of the fasteners are tight of course.

Thanks for the info!
Another question for you:
I have a 16 with the comptip mast. The instructions for mounting the Baby Bob seem a bit "odd".
As I understand it, I am supposed to drill out the rivet in the front sheave, insert the supplied bolt and nut through the Baby Bob mounting bracket and then through the front sheave. For the second bolt it appears I'm supposed to drill a brand new hole that would be between the two sheaves but under the halyard? Does that sound right to you?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Nick
