Great day on the water with winds 10-20. A little gusty so in and out on the wire a lot. Dumped it once and when she came up it took off with me being dragged like a rag doll until I could climb on before crashing head on into the shore line. Everything was uncleated and the only thing I can think of is that the mainsheet line tangled around the rudder and away she went. Nerve wracking to say the least and a close call. Lost a couple of batten caps when I got tossed into the main sail but aside from that, just a blast.

Cool video but I was expecting a catastrophe!

I was so bummed I didn't get it on video. It died before the flop after about 2 hours of run time.
PS,most people who know me expect a catastrophe. I'm a cluster on 2 legs....

And how did you get youtube to let someone elses music to be played for the video? They always remove my audio.

The camera is the new kodak playsport hd camcorder (warerproof) around $140.00 from Best Buy. It's mounted to a small Giottos ball head which is screwed to a craftsman spring clamp. It's just clamped to the tramp w/ a tether to keep it from going to the bottom of the lake in case it got knocked off. The full res' video is pretty cool at 1080p. Not sure about the song and why it allowed me to post it??? It said it was removed from Germany only but fine everywhere else. Weird I know!!!
