I know it's not class legal but has anyone here ever used a mast rotation control arm on a H16? If so, what type of mounting brackets were attached to the mast? Would appreciate any info.

Thanks,

David

I used a bracket for a boomless shaped like a V I got from Murrays on my Hobie 17. Ran a block system with a cleat to the boom. Works great. If confused call me. 8)

Thanks for the input Doug. I have found the rotation arm that you were referring to at Murray's. What I need is the two mounting brackets that are riveted to each side of the mast that rotation arm is connected to. I think mast on your 17 might already come with the brackets on it. Any ideas ?

I just took off my old arm and bolted new one on. Call Murrays on there 800 number. They have always been VERY helpful to me. If they don't have them, I am sure they can send you in right direction. Good luck.

It would eb a good idea to spport the inside walls of the mast where the bolt passes though. Either put a tube between the sides of the mast or get a fully threaded bolt and put a nylock nut on both of the inside walls.
