You do indeed want to end up under the tramp. When you can feel the boat is going to come fully upright, grab on to the dolphin-striker supports. This serves three purposes:
1) It won't hit you on the head. That weould be very bad!
2) It keeps you attached to the boat so it doesn't wander off without you!
3) In higher winds, the boat will often go over backwards! Holding on to the striker will keep the boat upright.
When you want to get back aboard, come up onto the hulls in front of the tramp.
