I found a fixer upper 16 at a good price, hopefully swap services for boat,
sails are good, tramp is bad, has trailer, needs cleaning, new ropes, some soft spots on hull. Hate to see it rot away to nothing, is it worth trouble ?, I enjoy a good challenge

pappastratos

It depends on the exent of the delam and how much work you want to put into it. From your very brief description of the condition it sounds like it is worth fixing up.

zingaro, its a 1976 Hobie 16' not agreed on a price, needs to be low, needs a tramp, soft spots on both hulls, sails are orginal, but stored in basement. Will need new ropes, some maintenance on rudders. Main thing I guess is it needs cleaning, maintenance, & tramp. Most eventually needs this. I do not want to spend a lot of money but want something reliable, only can use boat 1 or 2 times per year. Let me know,,,,
