Matt, Anyone?

Can someone tell me the measurement from the bow aft to the subject point along the hull?

Really appreciate it,
eric

Is there really no one who can point me in the right direction?

Seems like you'd have tripped the trigger of a least one engineer. :?

It's a bit of a subjective question with the assymetrical hulls and rudders acting as daggers to a certain degree. Would depend on variables such as mast rake, point of sail, crew location, etc., etc., etc.

I'll guess front crossbar to shroud anchors.

Well, you can figure that it is in front of the center of effort of the sailplan - otherwise, the boat is unstable.

I would pick somewhere close to the front crossbar, but I agree that it moves depending on speed, crew position, etc.

Why are you looking to find out, just out of interest?

Mast rake with also change this.

There is no known dimension that I am aware of.

Thx all :D I wanted to know what to expect after adjusting the mast rake and getting back out on the water this summer. Odd things to mull over when you're re-finishing your hulls as a winter project. (All in an effort to out-sail my buddy and his supercat to the first mark).
