Awesome pic. I live just up the road. Maybe I'll see you guys out there. I just picked up my 16 and am figuring out the rigging.

Think I got it in the right place this time. My 1983 with Jalapeno sails. One great boat. Been sailing these since I was 12 and that's a lot of years. Thanks Hobie.

Nice! I was across the bay in Tampa but now I too will be right up the road in Clearwater/Safety Harbor.

Ah, finally... somebody sniped some pictures of my boat while I was on the lake. Good wind that day too, was flying a hull frequently. Too bad he didn't get any of me flying a hull.

2004 Mexico Worlds edition. The previous owner said this thing was a chick magnet, and he has pics of him with a dozen women on the beach. Although I've taken girls out on it, and copious amounts of more friends, it hasn't gotten me any girls I would consider date-able yet.

He's trying to link photos from his Gmail account. Obviously, it doesn't work.

I picked up this Hobie 16 from a friend who was moving out-of-state. It's a 1983 w/ Tequila Sunrise sail pattern (according to the serial number it originally had the 83' Nationals Green pattern). Needs a new tram and rail kit but all in all she's in great shape.

Smooth water makes for great pictures but no wind, no go. What does one do instead? Fish off the back!

You need to use the URL of the photo between the Img tags, not the page that the photo is on. Like this:
[ img ]http://i.imgur.com/rMVPiUx.jpg[/img] (spaces added so it will show)

Image

You can get the image URL by right clicking on it and choosing "Copy image URL" from the menu or open the image by itself in a new tab and copying the URL from the top of the window. Bottom line - if the URL doesn't end with .jpg, it's probably not going to work.
