Finally got some pics! I was less than 200 yards from the ocean, but the wind and surf was too much to take my kids out. So we took her out our small lake. My friend also brought along his Hobie 14. I couldn't use the jib, lake was too small and as it was, my daughter and I almost landed in one of those yards!

81 H16......sorry for the crappy pic.The wife took this from shore by holding a pair of binoculars up to her little point & shoot digital camera. She's the best.[img]http://s1148photobucket.com/user/rlatanville/media/ph-10021_zpslrbxrpkl.jpg.html?sort=3&o=17

sailthis, my sails came with the boat, which is pretty good because I paid less for the boat than I could have bought sails for. $200

Thanks guys,I'll pass your messages on to my wife. She's not just another pretty face ya know.
PS...we junked the point & shoot this summer and stepped up to the plate and dropped some serious coin and bought a Nikon D7000. 8) Now I just need some half decent wind so she can shoot some HD video.

Great pics everyone! I love all the various sails, especially the bright ones.

I am also surprised how many of the folks posting are very new to sailing thier cats. It is good news for the sport that there are so many new people getting involved.

Nope, you copied the page URL as opposed to the image URL. In photobocket, you need to copy the string in the IMG code box and paste it in your message.
