Just bought an '83 H16 that 'needs work.' Just forward of the forward crossbar there are two circular openings about 5" in diameter each. There is a housing for each opening but the circular screw type plate is missing. Contacted west marine for a replacement but they said they only came in 4/6/8 diameter so I'm at a loss. Anyone have any experience with these plates and where to get replacement parts, seeing as mine are an atypical size? I suppose in a pinch I could just buy the 6" plates and use some marine caulk/sealant but it would look pretty sloppy. Thanks! LP |

Any Hobie dealer can get you 5" ports (part #V1093 (white) or V1100 (black)). You have to buy the flange and the port cover together. They're about $12 each set. |

Great! Thanks, appreciate that. One less item on my Hobie themed scavenger hunt. LP |
