Anyone know if I could use a mainsail halyard from a H17 on my H16? Both are comp. tip. Thanks LP |

No. They are completely different. The 17 halyard has no wire component like the 16's does. The 17 uses a ring/hook mechanism to latch the sail at the top of the mast, not the wire slug/catch mechanism that the 16 uses. You could use a piece of the 17's halyard as the rope tail on a non-Comptip 16 halyard. |
