ok as I said before I'm still new to sailing. Now, I've never been on a trapeze, and have some more questions, because I would like to get one.

Now, why are all the other parts of a trapeze neccessary? (shock cords, dog bones, etc, and what are these additional parts?)
I originally thought it was just a wire with a hook at the end to hook into the harness, but obviously that is not the case.

Additionally, if I buy soemthing like http://cgi.ebay.com/HOBIE-CAT-16-TRAPEZ ... dZViewItem what else do I need?

thanks alot ahead of time!

The Ebay deal is for wires only, it looks like.

The dog bone hooks to the harness hook. The line and rope lock allows height adjustment. The bungee pulls the dogbones and wire up against the trampoline rail when not in use.
