I have a 4"x6" soft spot in one of my 1982 hulls. I've got the West System 105 Epoxy Resin and the 206 Slow Hardener, but now I read that I should use the 404 Hardener as well (http://www.thebeachcats.com/OnTheWire/w ... ature1.htm).

So, should I use the hardener, or not?

404 is a high density filler, not hardener. It's a good idea to use it, or at least some typed of filler depending on how big your area is.
