Post subject: | rudder adjustment |
i had to replace the tiller cross bar.the original one corroded and the end broke off.i have the old style non-adjustable rudders.the spare cross bar i have is the new style that adjusts at the ends.i set it so it is the same length as the old one which was pretty easy!the rudders look straight.i was wondering if there is a measurement used to make sure they are straight and do not create excess drag.kind of like setting the toe on a vehicle.can i measure the distance between the rudders to set them straight!?what is that measurement?thanks! |

That's exactly right, about a 1/4" toe-in. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=467 |
