I just bought a used H16 and want to be able to pull it up using two 8 inch rollers on the grass shore of a small lake that I live on. I have a 2000 lb winch to do the pulling but I'm not sure where it is safest to attach the winch to the boat when I haul it up. The obvious choice seems to be the forestay adjuster but I'm not sure.

Any suggestions? or can anyone refer me to some example installations?

Do not pull it by the forestay adjuster.

Take a loop around the front crossbar at the mast step and attach your winch cable there.
