Hello,
So my current shrouds on my Hobie are a bit too long. They are around 2.5 inches longer than the current model shrouds and don't provide the mast rake that I want. Instead of spending the $90 on a new set, is it possible that I could use the upper hole on the mast tang instead of the lower hole? I could use the same shackle for both trapeze and shrouds. Would this work? If not, is there any way that I could shorten the shrouds or in some way give more rake without buying new stuff or cutting wires?

If your shrouds are old enough to be the longer version, I would replace them based on age and not length.
