I bought a Hobie-branded roller furling jib from a sailor who represented that it was made for a H14 turbo. However, when I went to attach it to my H14T, the internal wire running through it (head to tack on the luff) was A LOT longer longer than the original wire that held my old jib (about 3 feet longer). This new jib measures 16' on the luff from head to tack and its foot runs about 63" from tack to clew plate. Is this a Hobie 16 jib? Thx. |

Is it an original Hobie sail? I am actually looking for a cheap used H16 furler jib (batten less). I am playing with an of brand furler gennaker and would like to have a fuller jib for more flexibility? |

By the way, I have a set of high performance square top main and furler jib with vertical battens for a H14T. I bought those from a friend that sold his 14T just so I could play with the gennaker, I sailed it a couple of times and it was a blast. In less than 10 mph it was as fast as my H16. Would you be interested? |
