I want a beach cruiser for overnight camping (on beaches, I suppose), in the Gulf Islands of BC.
I am a bit concerned about tidal currents, because they are not so simple here (eg http://www.canadianyachting.ca/destinations/canada/839-bc-tidal-passes-part-1-passes-of-the-gulf-islands
How do you manage the risk of getting swept into the many rocks around here? Can you row a HC enough to avoid such a problem? mount a motor?
Any literature, or info on beach cruising a hobie cat is appreciated!
Also, is a HC 14 big enough for camping?
