I just bought a new to me H16 and both the main and the jib have a rust stain on them, is there something that I can use to remove it that is safe for the sails? |

Check out Whink rust stain remover. I checked the ingredients and there's nothing in there that should affect the fabric or dye. Walmart may sell it or some other rust stain removers, just check the label to see if it can be used on colors. |

Search the forum...there is a lot of discussion on this. Most recommend something called Barkeepers Friend. I've had real good luck with West Marine FSR gel. It is made for fiberglass stains but worked great on my white sails and caused no damage at all. |
