I've searched and haven't had much luck with finding much. Has anyone else had this problem and what was the fix.Image

is it just the gelcoat thats cracked? My 80 has some chips missing out of the gel but its seems ok structurally.

Gel coat is brittle and adds nothing structually.

Knock off the loose pieces and build the contour back up with some thickened gel coat. No big deal.

Thanks for the info. and that sounds like an easy fix. I"m curious though, what gives structural strength to the bridle attachment points?

Underneath the gel coat is about 3/8" of solid fiberglass - the deck lip is incredibly strong.
