Hey sgoldstrohm, I still have 2 sheaves left. Your description of the replacement process is pretty much right on. The most difficult part for me was getting the mast head off after the rivets were drilled out. The sealant in there didn't want to let go. I used a propane torch like what you would use for sweating copper pipe to gently heat the mast and help the sealant to release. After it was heated, the mast head slipped right off. Email me at [email protected] if you want a sheave. For $50 to my paypal account, I will send the sheave usps shipping included. Let me know. I haven't been on this forum for a while. shad,I am needing a new mast sheave for H16 "old type" mast tip (5" diam) . I Saw your info , and though its 2016 now , do you still have some for sale? am in NV , but would pay extra for a boxed, bubble wrapped protected shipment. I will also try your e-mail as you may not see this any time soon. Joel |
