Post subject: | Hobie 16 Rudder Problems |
Im sailing a Hobie 16 out of Dana Point, Ca, and have a few questions. --At high speeds, I have to pull the tiller extremely hard towards me to keep the boat going straight. Is this normal? --Also at high speeds, the rudders hum occasionally. how can I fix this. =Thanks for reading, Robert |

FAQ Section has this info - sounds like you don't have the rudder locked into the down position to me - or they are raked back too far - need to tuck the rudders under the transom further. You're right the rudders aren't locked into place. Both of the cams are jammed into place. Hopefully replacing them will do the job. Thanks for the feedback. -robert |
