In tryng to improve/restore my '79 H16, I have found a local guy with a boat sans sails and tramp but most of the other parts intact. Really, I just want one hull. After that, I'll likely part things out on the cheap via eBay or Craigslist on the cheap to recapture the cost.

The question: will there be an issue if I bring a hull into the mix that is not the same year as the rest of my rig? Also thought about removeing the tramp frame from the old hulls, keep the existing rigging and just use matching "replacement hulls," assuming that there are not soft spot issues.

Thanks for the insight!!!

I believe most the rigging should be the same. There was a hull change in 85' that made the hulls lighter. What year is the new hull?
