About 18 inches forward of the tramp pylon, port bow, I have two little cracks in my 1979 Hobie 16. Please see pic.

How should I go about repairing these? Thanks in advance,

MSP

Hey MSP, sorry that I can't offer help on this but I have a bunch of these cracks on the same hull in the same location. They are not quite so big (1/4" maybe). They all go the same direction, from left to right across the hull. I am interested to hear a response on this too. They don't appear to go very deep, but they kind of lift up at the edge just like your image.

Grind away/sand away the gelcoat in the vicinity of the crack. Inspect the underlying fiberglass for cracking. If cracked, repair using polyester resin and fiberglass cloth. Fill in imperfections with putty and sand fair. Shoot with gelcoat.
