When sailing your H16, what are the items you always have, extras or spares -- because something is always breaking in the boating world. Any other items you can't live without when you sail? |

We've been sailing our H16 for over 30 years, so we have an ample supply of shackles, pins, rudder pins, teflon mast chips, etc. I think that the longer you sail-the more you accumulate. We replace our shrouds about every 5 years, so when we travel with our boat on vacation we take along an old set of shrouds and anchor bolts - just in case.....You seldon have a Hobie Dealer nearby when you're on vacation. You should pay as much attention to your trailer as you do your boat. Grease your bearings, etc. Be safe and have fun! |

You may also want to check the sailing rules and regulations in your state. They should be able to provide you with a list of safety equipment and other items, sometimes required by law. |
