Should I repair these? I just got my 1979 Hobie 16 upside down in order to repair hull separation at the shroud anchors. Further inspection is now much easier and I found some cracks under the lip. http://www.flickr.com/photos/99738108@N04/9504364374/ Now, if I do repair these cracks, use epoxy or polyester? |

No real worries. Most 16s have these. Looks like cosmetic "crazing" cracks. The lip flexes during several steps in the manufacturing process and any impacts or flex could cause these. |
