Ok, thanks guys! In the picture, why is the main sheet not running thru the traveler car?
Where do you tie stopper knots? Are there 1 or 2 stopper knots to tie? I get how the sheet goes thru the pulleys, but the traveler car and cleat jaw thing are confusing me still. Please excuse my horrible lack of sailing vocab. Thoughts?

The end of the line that you currently have threaded through the "cleat jaw thing" and traveler car and ends with the stopper knot in the picture, that needs to be unthreaded from there and run back up to the block hanging off the boom and tied off to the becket on the bottom of that block. The end of your mainsheet that is out of the picture then gets threaded through the "cleat jaw thing", through the traveller car, then through the dead-eye on the rear crossbar and then tied off with a stopper knot (as you currently have, you just put the wrong end of the line through the traveller). If you are used to other mainsheet systems, the Hobie way can be confusing. When rigged correctly, you end up with a loop of line in your hand. One end leads to the mainsheet blocks and the other end leads to the traveller. That way you can work both the mainsheet and the traveller while you are trapped out on the wire.
