I wish I had video but no go pro yet. Sunday was a beautiful day in Carteret County, NC. Sunny 80-85 degrees, South West 10-15 mph. My 20 year old daughter came to visit so I took her and my wife sailing. Really easy cruising just enough wind that we could scoot along at a good pace. My daughter then decided she wanted to play "Submarine". She sat on the downwind hull in front of the trampoline and I drove it into a controlled pitchpole. Water is coming up to the point she needs a snorkel to breath. My wife was sitting on the other hull laughing at her. They decide they want to head to shore so I dropped them off and took it for a spin alone. As soon as I was past the sandbar I cranked it down and got on 1 Hull. I managed to sail for 15 minutes before my starboard rudder touched the water. I tacked her over and headed back once again flying the port side. Unfortunately the gusts (or lulls) dropped me a couple times so it wasn't that perfect hull flying experience but it sure was fun.Its times like these that I remember why I want to be a blow boater. |

Thanks so much for sharing! I am hoping for a couple of more good outings before the time comes to winterize everything. |
